We Recognize Penny Corden's Many Contributions to the Playhouse
Penny Corden retired this year as Artistic Director of our Black Box theatre,
passing the reins on to O'Dell Hutchison. The Black Box began as a secondary rehearsal
space that hosted an occasional production. Under Penny's direction, Country Playhouse
began offering a full slate of modern productions under the Black Box Productions banner.
